The therapeutically-prophylactic properties of the weakly mineralized (543 mg/l), isothermal (T 38 C) water with slightly alkaline reaction (pH 7.4) are determined by the presence of hydrocarbons calcium, sodium and magnesium ions. Water is indicated for treatment and prophylaxis of degenerative and inflammatory diseases of the locomotory system/arthritis, arthrosis, etc. /, peripheral nervous system (radiculitis, plexitis, etc.), skin diseases / atopic dermatitis, etc. /
Riviera mineral water rises from a natural underground spring in the Varna region. It flows steadily at a constant 38°C, providing a reliable supply to the balneology complex. Rich in hydrocarbonates (318 mg/L), it supports metabolism and helps maintain the body’s acid–base balance. Its magnesium and calcium content also support healthy bones, joints, and cardiovascular function.
At the complex’s balneology centre, this water is used for mineral baths, underwater massage, shower massage, and inhalations. All treatments take place under medical supervision and are suitable for rehabilitation, prevention, and relaxation.
